In 2002, Headingly was being upgraded with new stands.  A dispute arose over the works which threatened to jeopardise the use of the venue for the upcoming test match.  Michael O’Reilly was instructed to act for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in the adjudication.  An excellent result was achieved and the venue was open in good time.
